Colleen Crowley was the ex-girlfriend of former Cleveland Browns NFL player Johnny Manziel. Colleen Crowley is a undergraduate student at TCU – Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She is originally from Houston, Texas which is only 3 hours from Tyler, Texas where Johnny is from. Coleen has two sisters, Robyn Crowley and Taylor Crowley. Robyn is a former sports Journalist who dated Houston Rockets NBA - National Basketball Association player Chandler Parsons. Her other sister Taylor Crowley works as a stylist.
2014 Domestic Abuse Incident
According to an Ohio police report after both Johnny Manziel and Coleen had a few drinks Johnny Manziel pushed Colleen's head into the glass of his vehicle and hit her multiple times. The attack left Colleen with some bruises however she decided not to press charges against Johnny Manziel.
2015 Domestic Abuse Incident
Johnny Manziel turned himself in on May 4, 2016 on charges of domestic assault after an alleged attack on Colleen Crowley, earlier this year. Johnny Manziel was released from custody after posting $1,500 bond. Johnny could face up to 1 year in prison from the charges.
Colleen Crowley told authorities that Johnny Manziel“restrained” her while they were in the hotel room before leading her to his vehicle.
Once Johnny Johnny Manziel and Colleen Crowley were in his vehicle, he reportedly drove her to her own car where she attempted unsuccessfully to hide from the athlete. According to Collen, “He (Johnny Manziel) grabbed me by my hair and threw me back into the car and got back in himself,” Colleen Crowley told police. “He hit me with his open hand on my left ear for jumping out of the car. I realized immediately that I could not hear out of that ear, and I still cannot today, two days later.”
After their alleged physical altercation, Colleen Crowley claimed Johnny Manziel drove her to her apartment where the two began arguing once again. Then, after pulling out a knife on Manziel and scaring him off, Colleen Crowley called police.
Johnny Manziel's defense attorney Bob Hinton accidentally sent a text to an AP reporter saying that Manziel is seeking a plea deal in the abuse case. Hinton also wrote "Heaven help us if one of the conditions is to pee in a bottle," in the text. The text also says Hinton was given a receipt by a colleague that purports to show Manziel spent more than $1,000 at a drug paraphernalia shop 15 hours after the crash.
