Christopher Eric Giles was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico. ^[1]

On January 26, 2018, Giles was shot by police during a home invasion in Austin, Texas. Christopher Giles targeted a YouTube celebrity couple who hid inside a closet and dialed 911 as Giles fired his weapon inside and outside the house. An investigation later concluded that he had already died of a self inflicted gunshot wound before the officers fired. ^[1]
