Christine Cruz (born December 12) is an American reporter, News Anchor and fitness enthusiast who works at the WSVN 7 News station, Miami, Florida. She has worked for WSVN 7news for over 24 years since 1996.[1]

Chrisyine Cruz was born and raised in Miami, United States. She is an American national. [2]
Education
Christine Cruz completed her schooling from Florida Christian High School. Christine attended Florida International University, where she graduated with high honors and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication. She was Valedictorian of her high school class. She was also crowned as Miss Miami in the year 1995.
Career
Christine started her Journalist career as a Reporter at on Dynamic Cablevision in 1992. She also served as weather. She joined WSCV Channel 51 as an Entertainment Reporter and weather anchor in 1994. She also worked for Discovery Channel's Cyberlife.” as a an Anchor for a short period of time after leaving WSCV. She then joined WSVN in September 1996. She worked as a reporter for four years and then promoted as a News co-anchor in January of 2000 for WSVN’s no.1 rated show, 'Morning News TODAY'. She currently co-anchors Morning News Today In Florida at 7news on weekdays from 5:30am to 9am and also in the afternoon.[1][2]
Personal Life
Christine Cruz is a Miami native and she still lives there.
She is married to Quarterback Coach Frank Ponce on May 27, 2017. They have two preteen Children Lucas and Leah. She loves to play with her kids all the time. She likes to play Basketball and Tennis with them and she tries to keep them active and avoid becoming Video game addicts.[3]
She is a fitness enthusiast.
She is certified Fitness Instructor and she also instructs at the coaching and boot camps and step class sometimes. This is what she says about her workout routine..[4]
"I do a bit of everything.
I'm a certified fitness instructor and every once in a while I teach boot camp or step class.
On the days I don't run, if I feel down, I'll do the stair climber.
I do weight training at LA Fitness or Shula's Athletic Club three days a week.
But most of all, I love running.
I normally run seven days a week."
She believes running is the best exercise to keep yourself fit.
She has taken active part in many cities including ING Miami Half Marathon, Sunrise Half Marathon and Hollywood Half Marathon. She states her experience in following words.
I've run a couple of marathons, but they take a while to recover.
A half marathon is enough to feel I've run a long time, but I can recover fast.
I can run one a month.
I do the local circuit, including the ING Miami Half Marathon, the 13.1 Fort Lauderdale and the 13.1 Miami.
And some out of the region.
