Chelsea Romo is an American staff member for the Inland Valley Medical Center known for being a severe injured victim in the Mandalay Bay Resort Shooting that took the lives of more than 59 people and injured hundreds more. ^{[0] [1]}

Raised in the city of Murrieta, she grew up in Southern California for most of her life. ^[0]A single mother of two, a five year-old and a 20 month-old, she works as a staffer for the Inland Valley Medical Center. ^[3]

She is a graduate of Elsinore High School in Riverside County. She also attended Vista Murrieta High School. ^[0]

Chelsea was in attendance with her friends at the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas for the weekend of September 29th - October 1st, 2017. ^[3]On the night of the Mandalay Bay Resort Shooting, Chelsea was in the crowd of thousands and was shot in the head and suffered other multiple gunshot wounds. ^[4]

Chelsea lost her left eye and now needs a cornea transplant to save her right eye.

The family says it's a long road to recovery, but has received the prayers and support from her extended church family and friends.

On October 9th, 2017, she was seen arriving at her home in Riverside County after being hospitalized for almost an entire week. ^[4]
