Chad LeBaron (born May 28, 1992), known professionally as Cherdleys or Cheb, is an American actor, YouTuber, comedian, and film director based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his short sketches and other types of comedy videos on his social media channels which garnered over a million views. [1] [2] [3]
Early Life
Chad was born on May 28, 1992 in California. In his late teens and early twenties he attended community college where he studied film, acting and improv and almost entered a theatre program but "just kind of stopped". He owns lebaronfilms.com where he films mostly weddings which is his main source of income aside from YouTube since 2011. According to his interview with Andrew Hales he started making videos on his cellphone on Youtube as early as 2011.[16]

He has collaborated on a social experiment and prank channel called Simple Misfits, which earned approximately 400,000 subscribers before a final video was posted in December 2015.

As of March 2020, Cherdleys has accumulated over 1.2 million subscribers on his Youtube channel[19]. He began posting videos in October 2015. [1] The first video he made with the channel was titled "Getting Dumped Into A Garbage Truck" which was uploaded on December 7, 2015. In his interview with Andrew Hales he stated that he bases all of his characters on real people that he's met with the exception of Cheb which he bases mostly on himself.[16]
His most viewed video is titled "Is It Chill If I Chill" which features fellow comedian Trevor Wallace and has close to 4.5 million views. [1]

Chad chooses to go by "Cherdley's" because his first name is "generally a douchey name".
In his interview with Andrew Hales he stated that he would rather be an actor than a YouTuber because he doesn't see himself as a "personality".
