Cathryn Gorospe was an American Elementary school Teacher known for being a missing person whose body was discovered by Law enforcement in October, 2017. ^[1]

A resident of Phoenix, Arizona for many years, she worked as a school teacher for Arrowhead Elementary school under the Deer Valley Unified School District. ^{[2] [6]}

She was remembered as being a fun and loving person that people can count on.

On October 6th, 2017, it was reported that the last known sighting of Gorospe was when she left Phoenix after posting bail for Charlie Malzahn. Her roommate reported Gorospe missing after being concerned that she left without making arrangements for her dog. ^{[5] [6]}

On Friday 13th, 2017, Law enforcement found the missing body of Gorospe in an undisclosed location. The whom she has bailed out, Charlie Malzahn was caught a few days earlier on October 9th with Gorospe's vehicle which had bloodstains in its interior. He was taken into custody and was charged with using Gorospe's credit and debit cards. ^[4]

Malzahn has become a person of interest in the death of Gorospe.

On Saturday evening, October 14th, 2017, a vigil was organized by Gorospe's friends and family as a way to honor their late friend.
