Early Life and Education
Cassie was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and grew up in the Boston area. Her younger brother, Jordan Fliegel, is the CEO of Draft. [1] She attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin where she was a star athlete, playing varsity in basketball, soccer (as goalkeeper), volleyball and tennis. After high school, Cassie attended Harvard University where she majored in English and studied Psychology and Dramatic Arts as well. [1] An active student, Cassie landed roles in several plays in the renowned American Repertory Theatre and earned the Lee Patrick Drama Award for her achievements in playwriting and screenwriting.

Cassie started her career simultaneously working as a Casting producer for Mark Burnett Productions and an Online Writer & Editor for CoachUp.com. [1] For Mark Burnett, she was responsible for the entire southeast territory of the United States for reviewing contestants for Survivor. Cassie was employed for seasons 25 and 26 and was responsible for casting a number of contestants that were participants on the show. [1]
In 2013, Cassie became a SEO Copywriter for two firms, Nobis Interactive and Provide Commerce.
[1] She was the "voice" for her company's clients and worked with brands such as RedEnvelope, Personal Creations, Shari's Berries & Cherry Moon Farms.

Furthermore, Cassie acquired knowledge in writing metas, headers, footers, product and category pages, HTML coding, and guest blogging.
Cassie joined One America News Network in June 2013 and became one of their main faces. [1] Cassie's responsibilities include producing main national and international headlines on the show. She is on during weeknights Monday to Friday at 12 pm, 3 pm, and their primetime 6 pm broadcast (times are in Pacific Standard Time.) [1]
