Candace McCowan is a TV news personality & reporter, she works for WABC-TV channel 7 Eyewitness News team as a reporter. Before joining WABC, Candace was a political reporter and anchor at WFLA Tampa's NBC affiliate. During the struggle for the United States largest swing state, Candace interviewed now President Donald J. Trump, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, and many others[1].

She was conceived and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia on November 4, 1985. Candace lives in Midtown Manhattan, with her husband Halton Peters. She graduated from the University of Alabama between 2003 to 2006 with a double major in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism[2].
Career
Candace McCowan’s journalism career began when she was still at University.
She additionally worked with WVUA-7 TV, which was situated on campus.
She focused mainly on gathering information, editing, and shooting.
She later went to work with WJCL/FOX 28 (from January 2007 to December 2008) in Savannah, Georgia as her first employment after college in 2007. Here she was a news reporter and fill-in anchor[3].
From January 2009 to January 2014, Candace moved to WREG-TV where Candace McCowan was a reporter for the morning show. This was followed by a stint as a news reporter/anchor with WFLA-TV in Florida. In December 2016, Candace moved to New York City to work with WABC 7 NY, Eyewitness News as a news reporter to date[4].
