Candace Buckner

Candace D. Buckner is an American journalist based in Washington, D.C. She is a reporter at The Washington Post, covering the Washington Wizards. [1]

Education

Candace Buckner graduated from Hazelwood East High School in 1998. Candace Buckner went on to attend University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in journalism.

Career

Since 2002, Candace Buckner has covered sports at various Newspaper, including stops in Macon, Georgia, Kansas City, Missouri, Gary, Indiana, and Vancouver, Washington.

Prior to joining The Washington Post, she was a sports reporter at the Indianapolis Star, where she earned Associated Press Sports Editors top 10 honors for feature writing and breaking news.
