Brynn Hawkins was an American toddler from San Antonio, Texas. ^[1]

She was the daughter of Amanda Hawkins and sister of Addyson Overgard-Eddy. ^[1]

On June 8, 2017, Brynn and her 2-year-old sister Addyson Overgard-Eddy died after their mother intentionally left them in a hot car for more than 15 hours in San Antonio, Texas. ^[1] The girls were unconscious and in grave condition by the time Hawkins sent them to a hospital. ^[1]

Hawkins and an unidentified 16-year-old man showed up at Peterson Regional Medical Center with her two children.

Both girls were reportedly in grave condition and were transported to University Hospital in San Antonio.

Hawkins told hospital personnel that the girls, herself and the teen had been at Flat Rock Lake when the incident occurred.

She stated that the girls had been smelling flowers in the area, and that the girls collapsed as they were getting ready to leave.

An investigation later determined that the little girls had actually been left in their mother's car for more than 15 hours while she and other friends were inside another residence.

After discovering the girls, Hawkins stated that she attempted to bathe them and did not immediately take them to a Hospital for fear of getting in trouble. ^[1]
