Bryan Tanaka (born April 11, 1983) is an American Choreography, professional dancer, and the boyfriend of Mariah Carey. [2] [1] [14]
Early Life
Bryan Tanaka was born in Lacey, Washington on April 11, 1983. He was known worldwide as a dancer and choreographer to big stars of international music like Beyoncé and Destiny's Child. He began his career as a choreographer and professional dancer after eighteen years of age, and before that practiced martial arts, which he said helped him to know and have better control of his body. Career
His first job was in the series Entourage (TV). Bryan has performed in major music awards such as Grammy's, MTV Video Music Awards, European Music Awards. He was nominated for the best choreography award for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards for "Video Phone." The award was presented with Usher. In addition to choreographer and dancer, Bryan also acts as a model and actor, having already done advertising campaigns for Nike, Pepsi, McDonald's, Old Navy and iPod. It is one of the most sought professional dance Hip Hop world and instructor of the famous Milennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles.

Relationship with Mariah Carey
Rumors of Bryan Tanaka’s relationship with Mariah Carey started making the rounds after the singer was seen walking into the arms of Tanaka in an episode of the reality TV show Mariah's World. As time went by, the couple got closer and their relationship started attracting the attention of the paparazzi. In late 2016, Entertainment Tonight reported that the duo were officially together. The following year, in April 2017, they officially called it quits according to People (magazine). According to the reports, Carey was the one to end their relationship as she wanted to focus on her children.
Then, the pair was rumored to be together again in August 2017.
During that time, Bryan took to his Instagram and shared a picture of him kissing Mariah on the cheek, which showed signs of them being together.[20]
In April 2019, the two reportedly broke up but reconciled a month later.
They were spotted in the street of Aspen, Colorado, on December 21, 2019.[20]
Personal Life
Tanaka is an Asian-American.
He is the second son of his Japanese dad and white mom.
As for his sibling, he has a younger brother named Danny Storey Tanaka.[20]
