Bonnie Jean Coldwell Ueltzen is an American resident of California who is also a travel blogger and writer. ^[3] She is known for being engaged with Golden Gate and East Area Rapist / Original Night Stalker (EARONS) Joseph James DeAngelo Jr. ^{[1] [4] [11]}

Bonnie was born and raised in the state of California where she has lived for much of her life. ^[2] She lived in the city of Penryn in her early life and would later live around the Sacramento area. As a teenager and young adult, she studied, lived, and worked in the Sacramento and Bay Area. ^{[2] [1]}

She also lived in the area of Auburn. ^[1]

Bonnie attended Sierra College in Rocklin. While studying at the college, she met a man named Joseph and the to began dating. ^[1]

Bonnie and Joseph met while they both attended Sierra College started dating. Joseph would eventually ask for Bonnie's hand in marriage. The two became engaged in the early 1970s. ^[1]

The couple announced their engagement in a notice in the Bonnie’s hometown newspaper, the Auburn Journal that said ‘No definite date has been set for the wedding.’^[1]

The two would call it quits and broke off the engagement.

Both would go on to have their marriages - DeAngelo Jr. followed a path of criminality.

Investigators in the murders committed by DeAngelo Jr. learned that after her raped his victims, he would lay next to them and sob saying: "I hate you.

I hate you.

I hate you, Bonnie."
