Zero to One
Blake Masters and Peter Thiel
Masters first met Peter Thiel in January of 2011 when he signed up for a small seminar Thiel was teaching. Maters interned for him in the summer of 2011 at the Founders Fund in which Masters describes as "a crash course in thinking about the future." The next year in the spring of 2012, Masters took a class taught by Thiel named CS 183: Startup. [undefined] [undefined] [undefined]
In the class, Masters took detailed notes of Thiel's lectures and posted in a personal blog.
Master's notes became one of the most widely read articles in Silicon Valley.
[undefined] Years later, Masters began seeing fake PDFs of his notes being passed around, which made him reconsider organizing his notes better in a book.
[undefined] Together, Masters and Thiel co-authored Zero to One based on Masters' notes and published it in September 2014. The book became a #1 New York Times bestseller and a 4.5 star rating on Amazon Inc. [undefined] [undefined]
