Early Life & Education
Benedict Evans is a graduate of Charterhouse School in Godalming, Surrey, England.
He later graduated first class from the University of Cambridge with a Master of Arts in History.
Career
In January 2014, Benedict Evans joined Andreessen Horowitz as a Partner.
Evans has always been passionate about finding out when and why great ideas and great technology can "put a dent in the universe", and what that might mean for everyone else.
He decided to join Andreessen Horowitz after spending some time with the team and seeing that not only was Andreesen Horowitz one of the best place to see those dents but it was also a great place to contribute to those dents in the universe.
At Andreesen Horowitz, Evans works as an in-house analyst and consultant helping the team to make investments.
Prior to joining Andreesen Horowitz, Evans spent 15 years has been working in the media and tech industries.
He first entered the industry in 1999 as a sell-side equity analyst for investment banks covering the telecommunications industry.
He later moved on to roles in strategy and management at Orange,
Channel 4 and then NBCUniversal. After
NBCUniversal, Evans worked as Strategy Consultant for Enders Analysis, where he focused on mobile technology . [7]

Bendict Evans defended Juicero a widely criticized tech company, known as the Keurig of Juice.
When Bloomberg revealed that Juicero's bags could be squeezed by hand, without using the $400 juicer device, Evans compared it to eating the coffee grounds of a Keurig K-Cup without using the coffee maker.
