Bearface, real name Ciarán McDonald, is an American Hip hop artist who is best known for his participation in the group BROCKHAMPTON. ^[1]

Bearface was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He started playing guitar around the age of 11 or 12 and started experimenting with production in his midteens. He's shared that his major musical influences are Frank Ocean, Prince , Michael Jackson , Slowdive , King Krule , Wheatus , Drake and more. ^[2]

Back when his name was stylized as Bear//Face and he hadn't met BROCKHAMPTON, Bearface had the opportunity to tour with The 1975 right ahead of the release of their self-titled debut album.

Bearface first gained popularity by remixing songs from artists like G-Eazy, A$AP Rocky , James Blake , The 1975 , Jeremih , Childish Gambino , CRUISR , Justin Timberlake and more.

Bearface met BROCKHAMPTON on KTT and quickly hit it off, flying to the USA to record music. He is the least visible of the group, choosing to stay in the background. However, it's been said that his role is what makes them a true boy band. He provides live instrumentation and often closes albums with an emotional solo track, like “WASTE”, “SUMMER”, "EVANIE", or “TEAM”. He's the only vocalist to have a solo song throughout the entireSaturation trilogy. ^[2]
