Ayleen grew up in Carbondale and attended schools in the Roaring Fork School District.
In her free time, Ayleen enjoyed hanging out with friends and family.

Death

On the evening of May 14th, Ayleen was a passenger in a 1999 Audi sedan driving on Garfield County Road 108 near Carbondale when the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to pass another vehicle and rolled into a ravine.
None of the passengers were wearing seatbelts and authorities suspect alcohol was involved in the accident.
Ayleen died from her injuries while the five other occupants were taken to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries.
