Austen Kroll (born June 16, 1987) is a craft beer expert and reality star. He appeared on the reality television show "Southern Charm".
Education
Austen Kroll attended the University of Alabama where he earned and MBA in Business Administration and Management. While in College he spent one semester abroad at the Anglo-American University in Prague and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. 0
Career
Straight out of college, Austen Kroll spent a little more than a year and a half as a banquet server for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Bachelor Gulch, Colorado. In 2012 Kroll snagged his first job in the craft beer industry as a bar manager at Roast Public House in Madison, Wisconsin. He moved back south to Charleston, South Carolina to work as a cellar man at the Palmetto Brewing Company. In 2016 Kroll became the territory sales manager for Red Hare Brewing Company, an independent microbrewery based in Marietta, Georgia. Austen was cast in the fourth season of "Southern Charm" alongside his close friend Shep Rose.
Personal Life
Austen was born in Washington, D.C. on June 16th 1987 to Tom and Wendy Kroll. He has a younger sister named Katie, and had an older sister named Kyle who tragically passed in 1994 when she fell from a 200 meter cliff while the family was on vacation. Austen would often visit his family's vacation home on Kiawah Island, South Carolina when he was young. As an adult he has a voracious appetite for travel, wandering from the rocky mountains all the way to New Zealand. He is a huge fan of hiking and golf and was once arrested for reckless driving when he was only 18 years old.
