Ashe Schow spent the majority of her childhood in Florida. Her father is an engineer and her mother is a homemaker.
Her family relocated to Massachusetts where she completed her last two years of high school.
Schow attended Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing.
Career
Ashe Schow wanted to be a writer after college.
However, her father convinced her to take an internship with a Republican congressional campaign in Burlington County, New Jersey. Subsequently, she joined Heritage Action for America and served as their Deputy Communications Director where she blogged and wrote fundraising letters. One year later, she became a web editor for The Heritage Foundation.
In June 2013, Ashe Schow began working as a staff writer for the The Washington Examiner.
In November 2016, Schow began reporting for Watchdog.org. She specialized in higher education.
Ashe Schow is currently a Senior Editor at The Daily Wire and a Senior Contributor at The Federalist. She has been a Senior Political Columnist at the New York Observer since September 2015. She also co-hosts a weekly podcast, The Snark Factor. Schow is a frequent guest on Newsmax TV where she offers political analysis.
Personal Life
Ashe Schow lives in Virginia with her two cats , Shadow and Charlie. She enjoys playing video games.
