Antonia Okafor is an American gun rights advocate, beauty queen, and conservative activist based in Dallas, TX.
Education
Okafor is a graduate of Hebron High School. She attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she earned a B.A. in International Political Economy and a Master's degree in Public Policy.
Career
Okafor is one of the most prominent advocates for concealed carry on campus. In 2015 she became the Southwest Regional Director for Students for Concealed Carry on Campus(SCCC), where she advocated for the passing and successful implementation of the concealed carry on campus in Texas law known as, “campus carry.”
Antonia is the founder and CEO of EMPOWERED, a recognized IRS 501 C (3) national student organization that educates, trains and equips young women on campus to safely use guns for self-defense and advocate for the right to use them.
Antonia supports criminal justice reform and is against the War on Drugs.
In July 2017, Okafor wrote an Op=Ed in the New York Times titled "Why I Bring A Gun To School." Earlier in 2017 when she shared a picture of herself and Tomi Lahren on Twitter, she faced intense backlash by the black community on the platform.
