Tomi Lahren (born August 11, 1992 ^[25]) is an American television and online video host and a conservative political commentator.

She currently hosts Tomi for TheBlaze.

^[26] She was previously the host of On Point with Tomi Lahren on One America News Network.

Lahren grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota, in a military family, and attended Central High School.

^{[28] [29]} Her family's background is that of ranchers who taught her about the values of hardwork.

She developed her love of political discussion during debates at the family table.

She graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2014.

Lahren also hosted and associate produced the political roundtable show, The Scramble for UNLV-Television.

^[30] She also interned for Republican congresswoman Kristi Noem, serving as the first intern for the Noem's Rapid City office.

Hoping to find an internship in political commentary, Lahren applied to OAN, obtained an interview, and was instead offered the opportunity to host her own show.

She moved to San Diego, California and began working for OAN.

On Point debuted in August 2014.

In July 2015, a video of her commentary concerning the 2015 Chattanooga shootings became a widely distributed video and garnered international press.

^[32] Prior to this event, Lahren caused a smaller wave of press attention in March 2015 when she appeared at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, and deflected the stereotype of Republicans as "old, rich, white males" by comparing them to the top Democratic presidential candidates as "Hillary, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden.

Old, rich, white, and if the pantsuit fits... male too?"^[33]

On August 19, 2015, Lahren announced that she had completed her last show with OAN.

She moved to Texas, and began a new show with TheBlaze in November 2015.

In February 2016, Lahren's criticism of Beyoncé's performance at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show as supporting the Black Panthers caused another round of controversy.

^[34] This was referenced and a quote sampled, in Pusha T's song Drug Dealers Anonymous, featuring Beyoncé's husband JAY Z. ^[35]

In July of 2016, Lahren issued a Tweet comparing the Black Lives Matter Movement to the Ku Klux Klan.

As a result, tens of thousands of people signed a Change.org online petition asking for her to be fired.

In January 9th, 2017, followers on Twitter discovered earlier tweets by Lahren that demonstrates a time when she wasn't a supreme representation of sectarian ideology and values.

On Friday March 17th, 2017, Lahren made an appearance on The View where she made commentary regarding the hypocrisy of American conservative women who say they are Pro-Life, when the majority of them are actually anti-abortion.

Her boss, Glenn Beck, did not take the response by Lahren in The View lightly as she has expressed her animosity toward "Babykillers" back in December of 2016.

Beck has stated that she has been given them problems and she was going to be fired anyway.

He is not into being surrounded by sycophants and he has no qualms working with people who are pro-choice on his network.

Beck also dissed her intellectual inferiority in her arguments by saying the following:
