Amy Siskind (born December 16, 1965) is an American activist and writer. She is the President of The New Agenda, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving womens' lives. She is a former Wall Street executive. [1]
She is currently based in Westchester County, New York.
Education
Amy Siskind was born in Marblehead, Massachusetts. She attended Marblehead High School and subseuqntly received her B.A. in Economics from Cornell University. She went on to earn her MBA in finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.

A frequent source for national press, Siskind has been quoted in the Los Angeles Times, the , the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.
Siskind is a regular featured contributor at the Huffington Post. She regularly speaks on college campuses to young women about economic empowerment. She serves on Cornell University’s highly prestigious President’s Council of Cornell Women and Cornell University Council, and was recently honored by the Westchester Country Legislators for her LGBTQ advocacy.
Siskind was a pioneer in the Wall Street Distressed Debt trading market. She became the first female managing director at Wasserstein Perella at the age of 31, and later ran trading departments at Morgan Stanley and Imperial Capital, where she was also a partner.
