Amie Yancey is a real real estate broker, interior designer, and reality television personality based in Las Vegas, Nevada. ^[3] Amie and her husband Scott Yancey, starred on the reality television show, Flipping Vegas on A&E. ^[1]

Amie Yancey grew up on a ranch in Canada. ^[1] She met her husband Scott while attending college in 1988. They got married in 2000 in the US Virgin Islands on the island of St. John. ^[1]

In 2004, Scott and Amie moved from Park City, Utah to Las Vegas to start the Goliath Company, a real estate firm. ^[1] Amie has designed, remolded, and sold around 1,000 homes for the Goliath Company. ^[1] From 2011-2014, Amie and Scott documented their business on the reality show, Flipping Vegas. ^[2]

In June 2019, Scott and Amie Yancey sold a remodeled 1949 farmhouse in Malibu, California for $6.25 million to actress Reese Witherspoon. Prior to selling the house, Scott and Amie used the property as a wedding venue. The two-acre estate, called Zuma Farms, is nestled in the foothills above Malibu’s Zuma Beach. It includes a main house, a guest house, a horse stable and multiple outbuildings. The private-gated estate features a modernized 1949 farmhouse that is surrounded by dozens of 1,500-year-old sycamores that add even more privacy. ^[14]

In 2017, Scott and Amie Yancey were accused of leading a real estate scam.

The alleged scam begins with a free preview event for people who "truly want a great chance of becoming wealthy" from the real estate market, even if they have zero experience and no money to invest.

They then entice potential customers to attend this event with offers of free meals and electronics gifts, such as a digital camera or tablet, and their marketing material is covered in images of Scott and Amie authoritatively surrounded by the logos of major news media – but closer inspection reveals that these are not outlets they've appeared on as experts but the places their infomercial have been seen on.^[16]

According to participant reports, this first step actually consists of a tiny bit of basic real estate information and more than three hours of hard selling to get a participant pay about $2,000 for a three-day seminar, at which they'll reveal their valuable information.

The three-day seminar amounts to one giant motivational talk-slash-hard sell aiming to get a participant to sign up for the next level of the Scott Yancey program, at which point they will have access to the truly valuable seminars, classes, mentorships, and funding.

The cost is of the intensive program is $30,000.^[16]

On Halloween 2018, Scott and Amie Yancey surprised rode horses in Malibu while dressed in costumes - Scott was the Headless Horseman, and Amie dressed up as Daenerys Targaryen from "A Game of Thrones". Onlookers at the Sunset Restaurant we shocked and eventually police told Scott and Amie that they couldn't ride on the street.^[15]

As of December 2019, Amie had over 15,000 followers on Twitter and 19,000 followers on Instagram account.
