Alexandra Glorioso is an American journalist based in Tallahassee, Florida. She is a health care reporter at POLITICO. [1]
Education
Alexandra Glorioso holds a B.S. in economics from Arizona State University and a masters in journalism from Columbia University.
Career
Before joining POLITICO, she wrote about politics for the Naples Daily News. At the Daily News, Alexandra covered the 2016 U.S. Presidential election for USA Today Florida, where, as part of a USA Today series on the election, she did a deep dive into swing voters in Hillsborough County.
She also uncovered that Southwest Florida Congressman Francis Rooney's company received federal contracts for which it didn't qualify.
After graduating from Columbia in 2014, she worked as an associate research at the university's Brown Institute.
There, she was the story creator for and producer of the virtual reality project, Reframe Iran.
In 2016, the project won "best film" at the World Virtual Reality Forum, Switzerland.
