Alayna Brooke Treene (born September 8, 1994) is a reporter and associate news editor for Axios and is based in Washington, DC. ^{[1] [2]}

Alayna Treene is a native of Skillman, New Jersey, Alayna Treene graduated Summa Cum Laude from The George Washington University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications. While a student, Treene undertook internships at CBS News, Variety, and Bloomberg London. ^{[1] [2]}

Alayna Treene started her career in 2013 as a Public Relations Intern at Bratskeir & Company. From August 2013 to May 2014, she was a CBS This Morning Intern. In 2014, she was a Sales and Marketing Intern at Variety. Later, Treene was a WRC News4 Intern.^[2]

Following a second internship with Bloomberg in New York, Alayna Treene joined the staff of Axios as a reporter in 2016, and was promoted to associate news editor in 2018. ^[2]
