Career
Prior to joining CNBC, Fujita was a Tokyo-based correspondent for ABC News, where she led network coverage of the 2011 tsunami and nuclear disaster in Japan. She also traveled across East Asia, reporting on everything from the conflict on the Korean Peninsula to Edward Snowden. [1]
Prior to her stint in Asia, she spent nearly five years in the Pacific Northwest as a general assignment reporter for KOMO-TV and Northwest Cable News. She began her career in the small town of Pocatello, Idaho. [1]
