Early Life & Education
Zachary Weiner grew up in New York City. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School. In 2014, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Mathematics.
Career
The Sports Quotient
Since September 2012, during his junior year of college, Weiner founded The Sports Quotient, a digital media startup for sports. He was the CEO, he emphasized on analytical content to provide more intellectual conversations about sports.
WME (William Morris Endeavor)
In April 2015, Zachary worked on William Morris Endeavor's digital group. He founded his second company within the talent agency in November 2016.
Overtime
In November 2016, Zachary Weiner co-founded Overtime, a cross-platform technology startup built around high school and amateur sports video and short-form content. Powered mainly by teenagers, Overtime provides a platform where users can capture and edit content using online tools. In addition, one can use the app to create unique music videos and/or videos with sound effects.
Weiner and his co-founder Dan Porter, have raised a seed round of $2.5 million from a group of investors, led by Greycroft. Investors included venture capital firms such as Correlation Ventures, as well as individuals like NBA commissioner David Stern.
