Zac Petkanas is a senior adviser to the Democratic National Committee and was the Hillary Clinton campaign's rapid-response director. [1] He directs the "Trump war room".
Education
He graduated from George Washington University in 2007. He worked for Senator Harry Reid, Texas Gubernatorial Candidate Wendy Davis and Media matters.
Career
Petkanas started his career in politics with Representative Hilda Solis of California. He has worked for Ann Kirkpatrick, Kathy Dahlkemper and Harry Reid as Director of Communications for their campaigns.
He was also a Vice President of Media matters.
Petkanas was in the news in June 2018 for being outraged at Corey Lewandowski for mocking a young child during their debate about immigration policies on Fox News. Petkanas was telling the story of a 10 year old girl with Down syndrome separated from her parents at the border when Lewandowski responded "wah wah".
