Ben Friedman, better known as Young Pageviews, is a blogger and podcast host at Barstool Sports. He is the head of Barstool Outdoors and the host of Stool Scenes.

Friedman was born and raised in St. Louis. Since his youth, he was passionate about hockey and was a fan of the St. Louis Blues. Friedman played hockey throughout high school.

Friedman had been an avid fan of Barstool Sports since around 2009 and created a plan to get the attention of David Portnoy in order to join the platform full-time. ^[1] While living in his parents basement in St. Louis, he created a music video for the song "Young Pageviews."

After he released it, Portnoy followed him on Twitter and Friedman contacted him via DM. Portnoy invited Friedman for an interview and he drove 1,000 miles to meet him and the Barstool Sports team. Dressed in outdoorsman gear and carrying a wallaby, Friedman walked into the Barstool office to make his case to be hired. He made a pitch to Portnoy to focus on outdoor/wildlife topics. Portnoy would hire him to run Barstool Outdoors.

Later on, Friedman became the host of Stool Scenes, a reality shows the documents what life is like behind the scenes in the Barstool Sports office.
