Austin Taylor ( September 29th, 1996), better known as Young Mantis, is a blogger at Barstool Sports based in New York City.

Taylor was born to Parent that were Pittsburgh Steelers fans and he would grow up a fan of the team as well. After a series of tests after he was born, doctors concluded that he had an undiagnosed condition that limited his range of motion, Speed, and strength among other things. Growing up, Taylor was the manager of his school's football team from junior high through high school.Taylor would go on to attend Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis and enrolled in the school of exercise science. ^[1]

During college, Taylor became a ball boy for the Indianapolis Colts. It was through that gig that Taylor met Pat McAfee and got to know him from 2015-2017. After McAfee retired from Barstool Sports, Taylor inquired if he could become an intern for Barstool Heartland. Taylor would begin to create videos and work on standup comedy. In 2018, he would be hired by Barstool Sports full-time.
