Yolanda is a young kid who has been a part of several ceremonies and events related to the Legacy in the work her grandfather, Martin Luther King Jr., left behind.
March for Our Lives
On March 24th, 2018, young Yolanda Renee King took part in a speech that took place in Washington DC in which she opened with: “I have a dream that enough is enough.” She continued in her opening words as saying the following :
“My grandfather had a dream that his four little children will not be judged by the color of the skin, but the content of their character...I have a dream that enough is enough.
And that this should be a gun-free world, period.”
The speech has since gone viral on the internet and is considered a powerful moment that took place during the march.
