William Victor Schneider

William Victor Schneider, originally from the Vernon, B.C, Canada area is a drifting life long career criminal with no fixed address. He is the sole convicted perpetrator of Natsumi Kogawa's death. [1]

Criminal History

Schneider has court records that show he has previously been charged with Armed robbery, Theft, Mischief, and breach of a Probation order. [1] Records also indicate he was involved in a 1992 attempt to smuggle heroin from Thailand. Records also indicate he attempted to smother / choke a women in Alberta, Canada prior to his September 28th 2016 arrest in Vernon where he fled to avoid Police in Vancouver looking for him.

Murder of Natsumi Kogawa

On September 28, 2016, Schneider was arrested in connection to the death of Natsumi Kogawa. He has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder as well as Indignity to a Human Body. Schneider was found guilty of both charges by a BC Supreme Court jury on October 19th 2018 and was sentenced to life in prison without the opportunity for parole for 14 years.
