Jayquan Cutler (born November 9, 1991), better known by his stage name Why Cue is an American hip hop recording artist and music producer. He produced for former Jive Records artist Lil B"The Based God". [1]

Cue's singles are accompanied with highly visual videos.

His single "Drippin'" sits over 1 million views on YouTube, with his channel pushing multi-million stats. Cue also has almost a half million Spotify and iTunes streams. [1]

Biography Cue was born in Peekskill, New York shortly after his family moved from Brooklyn in pursuit of a better life. As a child, Cue grew up with 2 brothers and 2 sister, being the middle child of his household. He officially got into music after being inspired by his deceased step-father, who once was a DJ. Living as a struggling artist, Cue visioned a better life for himself and his family. Eagar to show his feelings to the world at the age of 11, Cue started recording songs with a cheap microphone that he had stolen from his elementary school music room with some friends. The first song he ever recorded was a freestyle to a Young Gunz beat.

Early Life* Why Cue started releasing songs on MySpace and making music. Later he released his first mixtape in 2008 titled Storm & other classics like "Can't Break The Concrete Voumesl 1, 2 and 3. After spending time as a hustler, Cue was encouraged to pursue a career in the music industry. From age 11 and on Cue has taught himself various talents and skills, becoming a one man band, learning how to mix & master his own tracks and shoot and edit his own music videos. Recognition Cue's work started to get recognized after collaborations with artists such as Lil B The “The Based God”, Shawty Lo, & former D4L Records artist Jurrarri. He has performed warm up sets for artists such as French Montana & Loaded Lux. Cue has been involved in music for a decade and has built a fan base all over the world. Since 2013 Cue has made himself a public figure gaining many supporters accumulating a following over 200,000 fans. After cliquing up with Shawty Lo on his last mixtape, the New Yorker has released two tracks entitled "Drippin" and “Ticket”, which are available in digital stores such as Spotify and iTunes.

Cue teamed up with Roswell Gray in 2017 to produce a single called "I Get Around", his first to be played on national radio by Hot 97. [1] The single was reposted by XXXTentacion before going viral. Cue shoots and edits all his own music videos under the brand "WhyCueTV". [1]

Cue's next project "Xxotic" is expected to be released in 2018.

Producers working on the album include Roswell Gray, & Hektic Beats & unreleased video footage shot by Riff Raff's personal videographer Law Raines.
