On November 11, 2016, Veteran's Day, U.S. Army veteran, Ernest Walker, was confronted by an elderly customer1 in a Donald Trump shirt. The elderly man complained to the manager, Wesley Patrick.
The elderly man questioned Ernest Walker's military service. Wesley Patrick, the Chili's manager, also questioned the military service of the veteran. Ernest Walker had a service dog with him and produced identification, however the Chili's manager removed the veteran's food.
Wesley Patrick asked Walker to leave.
When Walker complained, Wesley Patrick picked up Walker's to go meal in an attempt to coax Walker into leaving the Chili's in Cedar Hill, Texas.
Walker recorded a portion of the incident and posted it on his Facebook account, and the video went viral on social media.
