Valerie Shepherd is a 21 year-old resident of the city of Des Moines in the state of Iowa who was video recorded assaulting a Hispanic worker inside of a McDonald's. ^[2]1 ^[2]

Valerie was born and raised in the state of Iowa, and grew up in the city of Des Moines. ^[3]

On June 3rd, 2017, Valerie was with two male friends at the McDonald's on 1345 E. Euclid Ave. They went inside of the restaurant and ordered McChicken sandwiches, but according to reports and witnesses, the three friends became irate when the food was taking too long.

Valerie began arguing with one of the women who worked inside the fast food chain and when her order was ready, it was said that Valerie threw it over and began assaulting the worker.

Profanity and insulting words were delivered as Valerie hopped onto the counter and over the register.

The two women began brawling for a few minutes before three friends left the scene in their blue Ford pickup truck.

She was arrested and charged with assault causing injury and disorderly conduct.
