Triple J Plus are three singing and acting sisters who put wholesome lyrics to good music and make awesome dramas.
The group is comprised of Jemima, Jesi and Jeiel Abel Damina, three Nigerian sisters with a vision for the Global Community.
Biography
The oldest of the sisters is Jemima, who was born in 1994.
She attended Oral Roberts University, USA. She likes dancing, cooking and travelling. Jesimel, on the other hand, is 25 years old. Her hobbies include singing, basketball and creative arts. The youngest, Jeiel, 18 years old and she likes drawing, making friends and dancing, while the colour she likes most is red.
Born and raised in Uyo, Nigeria, Triple J Plus have known music for a long time and are usually of the notion that music for them is inbuilt.
They have known music for as long as they can recall.
Jeiel, at age 5, was Kidnapped but was delivered out of the hands of the kidnappers
Family Background
They were born and brought up in the family of Abel Damina, a full time pastor who established a ministry popularly known as Power City International since 1992.The three sisters, Jemima (aged 17), Jesimiel (15 years old) and 8-year-old Jeiel Abel Damina; all daughters of the faith-teaching preacher, Rev. Dr. Abel Damina formed the all-girl group upon discovering they shared the same undying passion for music. Ironically, fate appears to have doled out an ace to family especially when viewed from the perspective of the psychological trauma the family was forced to contend with three years ago; precisely 2008. Three years ago, the youngest member of the group fell into the hands of kidnappers who abducted the young girl on her way to school. She remained in the custody of her abductors for a harrowing 7 days and was witnessed divine intervention as she was eventually released. Efforts to get further information as regards her abduction, trauma and eventual release proved abortive as the family expressed preference to have that episode of their lives shut away in the realm of the past. On a brighter note, the group has relegated the ugly episode to the background and today delivers its songs within the Pop, Rock, Hip Hop and R n B genres of music.[6]
