Tricia Whitaker (born November 4, 1989) is a sports journalist. She is currently a sideline reporter for Fox Sports Florida & Sun, covering the Tampa Bay Rays.
She is based in St. Petersburg, Florida.[2]
Early Life & Education
Tricia Whitaker was raised in Bloomington, Indiana. She attended Indiana Wesleyan University from 2008 to 2009. She then transferred to Indiana University Bloomington Bachelor's in communication& Media Studies
Career
Tricia Whitaker's first job was in 2012, working as an intern for the Indiana Pacers. She also worked as a web reporter for the WNBA's Indiana Fever.[5]
After graudating from college, Whitaker moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin and began covering local sports at WBAY-TV. She reported on the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and college sports at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay.[5]
In January 2019, Whitaker began reporting for Fox Sports Florida. She became a sideline reporter for the Tampa Bay Rays.[6]
Personal Life
In July 2019, Whitaker fractured a bone in her right foot.[7]
