Education
Timm graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in political science and international relations. He went on to attend New York Law School, where he received a juris doctorate. [10] [11]
Career
His writing has appeared in the New York Times , The Guardian , USA Today, The Atlantic, Al Jazeera, foreign policy, Harvard Law and Policy Review, and Politico . He also writes a column on press freedom for Columbia Journalism Review.
In 2013, he received the Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Award for journalism.
