Tracey Leong was born and raised in Southern California.
She keeps her personal life private and this makes it difficult to know her date of birth.
Tracey went to City University of New York-Hunter College and also, she attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona where she studied and graduated with Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication and Media Studies.
Career
Tracey Leong stated her career as Anchor / Reporter at KIEM-TV in Humboldt County, from 2010 to 2011.
From January 2011 to June 2014 , She worked as Anchor / Reporter at KRCR ABC 7 in Redding, California Area.
Tracey worked as Weekend Morning Anchor / Reporter at WJZ | CBS Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland Area, from July 2014 to March 2019 .[5]
From August 2019 to September 2019 , she worked as News Reporter at Kttv Fox 11 News in Los Angeles, California.
Currently, Tracey is working at KIRO 7 as Morning News Anchor.
She joined the KIRO 7 Morning News team in October 2019, working alongside veteran Morning News Anchor Michelle Millman, Meteorologist Nick Allard, and Traffic Reporter Tracy Taylor.

Bike sales surge during pandemic
WASHINGTON — If you are looking to buy a bike right now, you may end up paying more or waiting longer.
Bike stores across the country have seen a surge in sales during the pandemic.
“The demand we’re seeing now and the increase in business is unlike anything we have seen in our history of the company.
I mean, April and May have been busier than any month than we’ve had in our ten years we’ve been a bike shop,” said Bill Brown, Ride Bicycles Bike Shop Sales Manager.[7]
Seattle Aquarium needs critical support
SEATTLE — The Seattle Aquarium predicts it has lost a quarter of its revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Looking ahead to possibly reopening, it expects to take an even bigger hit.
The typical busy season may be its slowest.
It has recently shifted most of its programs online.
The virtual dive shows let people experience the aquarium inside their homes.[8]
Local school marching band performs virtual concert
SEATTLE — A Seattle middle school marching band is making music virtually.
They haven’t been able to perform since the pandemic closed schools, so their band director found a way to coordinate a concert with more than 100 students.
“Still be engaged in their homes and put out a product they are proud of as if we were on a parade route,” said Marching Band Director John Aguilar of Robert Eagle Staff Middle School.[9]
Local climber tackles Mount Everest at home
Andrew Hughes (KIRO) By: Tracey Leong Updated: May 12, 2020 - 12:44 PM SEATTLE — A Seattle man found a creative way to climb Mount Everest after the pandemic postponed his trip.
Andrew Hughes climbed a flight of stairs in his front yard 5,638 times.
It took him 19 hours to complete 22 miles, which is equivalent to the Mount Everest trek.
Even though the Seattle climb didn’t resemble the snow-covered Himalayas or altitude, Hughes set up a tent on the front porch and carried gear.[10]

When Tracey is not at work, she volunteers to help rescue animals, increase awareness against animal abuse, and promote healthy heart initiatives.
She enjoys exploring the outdoors hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, snowboarding and biking and is thrilled to discover the many activities and adventures available to her in the Northwest.
Tracey also loves spending time with her adventurous dog, Bella.[6]
