TomoChain (TOMO)
TomoChain (TOMO)
TomoChain (Tomo) is a Singaporean Blockchainnetwork that touts itself as the "Most Efficient Platform for the token economy". TomoChain is a public Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible blockchain.[19] They are intending to overcome the scalability problem other Blockchain platforms such as Ethereum have with their innovative solutions. They have features such as a 150-Masternodes architecture built with a Proof of Stake for faster transaction speed.
Overview
Tomochain was founded in late 2017 by Long Voung, Le Ho, and Son Nguyen as a way to find a solution for scalability in Blockchain and to also reinvigorate its technology throughout Asia.
Features
Tomochain features a 150-Masternodes architecture with Proof of Stake Voting.
The Masternode candidates must deposit a minimum of 50,000 TOMO (the native token of TomoChain) to the voting smart contract.
A maximum of 150 masternodes is then elected by the remaining TOMO coin holders via the Voting DApp (and the number of masternodes can be changed based on the decentralized governance).[19] In terms of security, they plan to use techniques such as double validation, staking via smart-contracts, and uniform randomization process.
[7]
They also support all EVM-Compatible smart-contracts, protocols, and atomic cross-chain token transfers.
ICO
On March 2nd, their ICO took place and they raised $8,575,000.
They were an ERC-20 token but a token swap took place in December.
Partnership
On December 14th, 2018, Tomochain announced a strategic partnership with Oneledger.
The announcement occurred hours before their mainnet launch.
Mainnet Launch
On December 14th, 2018, their mainnet launch took place.
A token swap will also take place as well.
