Tommy Genesis is a rapper signed to Awful Records.

She is originally from Vancouver but her career has led her to a nomadic lifestyle staying in Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Tommy Genesis' father is Tamil, and her mother is from Sweden. Her moved around a lot before settling in Vancouver when she was 13.

She attended art school and her work in film, sculpture, and performance art and has worked in multiple galleries. Her first foray into music was starting the rap group Moan with a female friend. Father discovered her music and pursued her for his label Awful Records. When she called him back, she said "Forgive me, Father."

Tommy Genesis dropped her first album "World Vision" in July of 2015.

Tommy Genesis describes her music as "fetish rap" and references sex, religion, and archetypes hidden in the subconscious.

She is bisexual and enjoys wearing skirts that resemble a school girl uniform.

In September 2017, Tommy released the single "Tommy".
