Tim McGinty

Tim McGinty

Tim McGinty is the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor in the state of Ohio.

In December 2015, he decided to not indict two white police officers in the murder trial of Tamir Rice.

Two white police officers murdered Tamir Rice while he was playing with a pellet gun at a park on November 22, 2014.

According to the prosecutor, the police officers had no way of knowing that Tamir was trying to show them that

the pellet gun was not a real gun or hand it over to them.

There is a petition for the police officers to face criminal charges.
