Career
Low Dog was appointed by Bill Clinton to the White House Commission of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, chaired the United States Pharmacopoeia Dietary Supplements and Botanicals Expert Information Committee from 2000-2010, appointed to the Advisory Board for the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCAM) is a member of the National Cancer Institute's PDQ Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine Editorial Board and is a founding board member for the American Board of Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Low Dog has been an invited speaker at more than 400scientific/health conferences, published more than 20 scientific articles, written over 15 chapters for medical textbooks.
Her most recent book is National Geographic's Life Is Your Best Medicine.
