Plot
The protagonist, Snake Prince, is wandering through the wilderness when he chances upon a beautiful maiden performing a song for rain.
Her village is beset by drought and soon, she is joined by the whole village in her ritual.
The Snake Prince is so captivated by the maiden that he assumes human form to join in the ritual.
He offers to share water from his river with the village if the maiden agrees to marry him.
The village desperately needs the water but some villagers object to the union due to the fact that he is a snake.
