The Skate Kitchen is an American Skateboarding collective composed of the skaters: Nina Moran, Rachelle Vinberg, Dede, Kabrina Adams, Jules Lorenzo, Brenn, Ajani Russell, and Ardelia Lovelace. [1] [2]

The idea behind the name and the passion for the collective itself came from the
In 2015, as Rachelle Vinberg entered her freshman year in college, she also began skating more and going to the skatepark.
The group of girls met through different avenues.
A few of the skaters knew each other from school or growing, while others became friends at the skatepark.
They spend most of their days at the Chelsea Pier 62 Skatepark and street spots around the city.
That One Day
That One Day is a short film shot by Filmmaker Crystal Moselle who directed the group of skaters, and casted Rachelle as the main character, for a Miu Miu projected concerning Women's tales. [11]
Moselle was on the train when she scouted the girls, and was intrigued by them.
She went to work with them.
Gender
The collective is a non-gender specific crew.
Rachelle explains that boys should be able to join them as it increases their competitiveness to become better skaters.
There is also less boundaries between the sexes.
She believes that positive and creative things when guys and girls can skate together as long as there is respect.
