The Art Bus Project
The Art Bus Project
The Art Bus Project is a nonprofit organization and a mobile exhibit dedicated to art exposure, education and engagement.
Founded in 2014 by CEO Lucia Davis, it's a two-woman operation, run by Davis and Executive Director, Hannah Fox.
The project's goal is to encourage artistic expression through collaborative events designed to foster imaginative thought and action.
The project is currently raising money, and plans to tour the Eastern Seaboard, inviting the public on board to experience art and meet artists.
The exhibit is a traveling showcase featuring the life and work of eight American artists [1]: Mark Cline (Natural Bridge, VA); Danilo Gonzalez (Miami, FL); KHEM (Brooklyn, NY); Romy Aura Maloon (Atlanta, Georgia); Tim McFarlane (Philadelphia, PA); David Rothenberg (Cold Spring, NY); Jason Arthur Sapan (New York City, NY); and Anna Wittenberg (Little Rock, AR).
Additionally, nearly 100 artists from around the world will be represented on board, via the Proust Questionnaire, a brief survey designed specifically for The Art Bus Project.
An important arm of the endeavor, it provides an additional opportunity for art exposure, education and engagement: the variety and breadth of interpretations to an identical set of questions are intended to give a glimpse of humanity's limitless creativity.
