Outing of Paola Garcia
Ragg was in the news in September 2017 for outing his classmate Paola Garcia on Facebook for being an illegal immigrant and a member of President Barack Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which allowed her to study.
Ragg wrote: "Everyone go report this illegal at my school" along with a shot of Garcia's Facebook page.
Fall 2017 Enrollment
On September 13th, 2017, the president of Transy, Seamus Carey, and vice president for enrollment and student life, Holly Sheilley, expressed support for Paola Garcia and frustration that the case took time to resolve.
Spokeswoman Michele Sparks said senior Taylor Ragg left campus following a grievance process performed by school administrators.
Due to overwhelming concern over the actions by Taylor, officials announced that he was no longer enrolled at the university.
