Taryn Englehart is a writer based in New York City. She is an Editor-At-Large at Reductress and a Writer at the Jimmy Fallon show. Taryn came to prominence after writing a satirical article pertaining to cucking her congressman, Garret Graves, by having sexual relations with his wife, Carissa Vanderleest Graves. Born and raised in New Orleans, she is half-Cantonese and half-German.

Taryn graduated from Swarthmore College and studied political science. She studied abroad at the University of London for one semester and took a few classes at the University of Pennsylvania through the Quaker Consortium. Taryn graduated in 2015 and moved to NYC.

Taryn has worked extensively around the world in a variety of positions.

She was a summer intern at the High Atlas Foundation in Morocco, a bartender in Hong Kong, an assistant editor in London, and a first camera assistant in New Orleans. She writes for Reductress and works as a maude writer for UCB Theatre NYC.

In 2017, she became a Writer at the Jimmy Fallon show.

On May 10th, Taryn authored an article for the Reductress titled "Calling My Representative Wasn’t Enough, So Fucked His Wife."

It is unclear whether the article is satire or not.

In the article, Taryn expresses dismay over being unable to have her concerns heard over her congressman, Garret Graves', voting record, especially regarding his vote to repeal Obamacare. To make a statement, Taryn decided to break the sexual tension that she and his wife have been building up for years and fucked her in their home.
