Tammer Riad (born in 1981) is a business executive, programmer, and finance specialist. [10] He is a co-founder of Digiworlds, operating as Chief financial officer.
Early Life & Education
Tammer Riad was born in Manchester, Connecticut, and raised in Monroe Township, New Jersey.
He graduated from Yale University in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. While attending the institution, he won a scholarship to travel to Egypt. Attending the American University of Cairo, he became certified in speaking modern Arabic.
Career
After graduating, Riad gained experience working in banking firms.
Specializing in investment banking and credit derivatives, he worked for one year in Bank of America and Goldman Sachs.
From 2006 to 2008, he was a client manager for TriOptima.
While there, Riad took what he learned academically and applied it to a finance-oriented tech company by providing over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives post-trade risk management services.
In 2011, he worked as an analyst for a venture capital firm called Westland Ventures.
In 2017, Riad took a leadership role for SureSpot, a technology company that helps determine the amount of available parking spaces in a designated area.
He was the CFO of the company.
Riad interned at Everipedia during the summer of 2018.
