Prior to joining the NYPD, She obtained a Bachelor degree in Biology from Medgar Evers College and graduated from Nursing School, Clara Barton H.S..

She is a talented singer and songwriter with a gift for writing lyrics and creating melodies acapella.

She is a R&B, Hip-Hop and Gospel singer.

She has independently released her studio singles So Much In Love (2013), Open for Love (2014) and Gotta Get Mines off Tonight (2014).

In May 2016, Tabatha posted accusations on social media saying Brooklyn North police chief Jeffrey Maddrey had tried to sleep with her while she was in the hospital and that he had repeated extramarriatal affair with other officers.
