Sylvia Chan is a YouTube content creator of short films, music videos, comedy skits and more who works alongside her husband Ryan as part of an independent filmmaking group called Night Owl Cinematics.

Sylvia's video "7 Awesome Apps We Wish Existed!" accumulated more than 2.5 million views in one year while their "11 Reasons Why Singaporeans Complain!" video was a 2013 Singapore Most Trending YouTube Video. The Ryan Sylvia YouTube channel belonging to her and Ryan was created in September of 2011 under Ryan's World of Warcraft name Alozerk. She received accolades from the 2015 Singapore Social Media Awards which include Best Comedy Video of the Year and Best Collaboration of the Year. She grew up around males with two brothers and five male cousins. Ryan Higa and David Choi were featured in her and Ryan's video "Looking For the One." ^[1]
